One of our primary goals this year was to decrease staff absences and promote a more consistent, supportive school environment. We’re proud to report that we’ve made significant progress toward this goal—six out of the past seven months have shown marked improvement in staff attendance, demonstrating the positive impact of our efforts to foster wellness and boost morale among educators.
In addition, our Youth Advisory Board (YAB) students have taken on an increasingly active role in shaping our school culture. They’ve begun collaborating with the Grant Team on new initiatives and are currently organizing an engaging Mental Health Awareness Day for the school community. During this event, YAB members will lead interactive activities and trivia games designed to spark important conversations about mental health. They’ll focus on recognizing common triggers and building healthy coping strategies, particularly as students and staff prepare for the upcoming state assessments. This event is just one of many examples of how student leadership and peer engagement are making a real difference in supporting both emotional wellness and academic readiness across our campus.
